The Dusit Dubai is a 40-floor hotel tower in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower has a total structural height of 153 m (502 ft). Construction of the Dusit Dubai was completed in 2001.
Location. Located in Dubai's business district, the Dusit Dubai is a 36-storey hotel with a Thai- influenced interior, housed in a contemporary-design gleaming silver tower and located 13 kilometres from the city centre. Dubai International Airport is 17 kilometres from the hotel, approximately 20 minutes by car.
Hotel Features. The hotel houses a fully equipped fitness room on the 36th floor offering panoramic city views, a jetted tub and a rooftop pool. Guests can also cool off in the outdoor pool surrounded by a sun-deck and with an adjacent pool bar, and pamper themselves in the hair salon. Business facilities include a ballroom and four smaller conference rooms, and the hotel also houses a florist and a boutique. Practical amenities include a multi-storey car park, a 24-hour front desk, all-hours room service, and a multilingual concierge service.

The Dusit Dubai offers a number of dining options: the Benjarong serves traditional Thai dishes in a modern, Oriental setting with specialties including Sweet and Sour Red Snapper and Grilled River Prawns with Tamarind Sauce; the Pax Romana serves modern Italian dishes in an elegant, romantic setting with panoramic city views; the Dusit Delicatessen is a relaxed, ground floor deli serving snacks and light lunches, with complimentary wireless Internet access; and there is an informal Champagne Lounge and a Lobby Lounge serving speciality Oriental High Tea.

Guestrooms. The 321 guestrooms, over 36 floors, features modern Oriental decor with rich patterned fabrics and teak wood furnishings. All offer air conditioning, wireless Internet access, satellite television, direct-dial phones, minibars, coffee and tea makers, and safes. Bathrooms have separate bath and showers, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. Dubai's Gold Souk, located ten kilometres from the hotel, houses approximately 300 jewellers offering a spectacular array of gold and gems. Haggling is traditional.
